The student's chosen transfer institution determines the mathematics courses to complete in order to be a successful transfer candidate. Students completing MATH 162 and MATH 171 will be best prepared to transfer to baccalaureate programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business . Students should consult with an advisor or their intended transfer institution for additional guidance.

Program Entry Requirements:

Since the general business degree offers students a broad introduction to business, students often use this degree as a precursor to pursuing a specialized master’s program. In addition to the Co-op program, other experiential learning opportunities abound at LeBow, including consulting courses, case competitions, international residencies, research projects, industry thought leader events, alumni mentorship and more. The career-focused education combines a background in business theory with practical know-how based on real-world situations.

You must have a 2.0 average or better in the courses listed below in order to graduate. Students must also complete 9 units of upper division General Education and a total of 120 units for the degree. Advisingdegree program guides, documents and other useful advising resources for students following current and prior catalogs. Students will receive an overview of the principles of modern business including accounting, management and basic communication skills. The college experience wouldn't be complete without UHD's state-of-the-art recreation center, club teams and intramural sports.

The UGA Griffin Campus offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in General Business. This on-campus, degree-completion program is designed for individuals living and/or working within commuting distance of Griffin, Georgia. Students gain a broad spectrum of business knowledge in the areas of finance, statistics, marketing, and management. The BBA in General Business provides students with valuable skills that are the foundation for a successful career as an entrepreneur or as part of a corporation, small business, or family business. This degree program offers students a comprehensive overview of all the components of business operations. The core curriculum introduces students to the principles of accounting, organizational leadership, marketing and information systems management.

A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to earn the Bachelor of Business Administration smmwiz Major. The selection of one of two tracks is also required and students must complete 33 credit hours of 300 or 400 level courses to satisfy the General Business Major required electives. The CAGLE Center is the main hub of study abroad opportunities in Spears Business. Through courses that can count towards degree requirements students can spend 1-3 weeks immersing themselves in a foreign country and meeting professionals from different business industries. The CAGLE Center offers approximately 20+ trips yearly for students to explore the world.
